Hello,
I want to install a package of chicken lights on the sides of my f150. They are 6 on each side and are led type.
I plan to connect them in series, and I want to take the power supply over the wiring that runs under the sides of the rear seats. To do this I will make a hole with a drill to pass the cable of the lights to the interior of the cabin.
My main problem is that... I don't know which wires I should connect the positive and negative poles to. Be the ground and a wire that allows you to power the chicken lights only when it gets dark and the automatic lights come on.
I am basing on the installation that is done in this video where he connected some running lights and it turned on when he opens the door:https://youtu.be/-_vhks3j-bA
However, it is worth mentioning that I want my chicken lights to stay on based on the auto lights that stay on when it gets dark or even if I turn them on manually
Could someone help me, please?
Or if you have better ideas to do, I'll appreciate it.
