Hello,

When the driver's door is unlocked, the lt green alarm disarm wire (or keyswitch signal) is at ground potential. The contact pair inside the cylinder switch simply connects it to the ground. However, what potential is present at this wire when the door is locked? 12V, 5V, or is this wire just left floated?

That's a very specific question to which I'd say grab a multi-meter and measure it. From an alarm installer perspective, it doesn't matter what the voltage is when it's not grounded - the ground path is all we care about, whether we ground it with an installed aftermarket device or detect it being grounded during normal OEM function (door being unlocked with key).
