I bought a 2011 Kia Sorento EX off my uncle that came with a new uninstalled OEM remote starter. It was all basically plug and play except 4 wires that needed to be tapped in Horn,Door switch, parking lights and hood. When I push button to remote start it will go and try to start but no crank if the key fob is in the car it will start but for less than 60 seconds shut off start again for less than 60 seconds does it a third time and then stops.I haven't installed remote starter since early 2000s so im rusty on the newer stuff any help would be appreciated. I will upload photos of the system. Apologize if I posted this in wrong area also new to forums

I haven't done those in a long time, Did you go through the programming procedure after install? I don't have the paperwork with me I'm pretty sure they had a light flash code for a failed start.

The paperwork I have has a horn procedure but it's not setting a code the light also isn't showing anything.I followed all procedure in the instructions. Someone said the flashlogic may need to be flashed so I ordered the flash programmer to try that.
