I want to use a button on my power seat to trigger the latching function of a PAC TR7 https://catalog.pac-audio.com/catalog/specialty-items/tr7 . Do I just splice into the wires for the switch? I accept that seat movement may be a byproduct.

Can you explain in a little more detail exactly what you are trying to accomplish? You said you want to use the pwr seat switch to trigger a TR7 module. But what are you using the TR7 module to trigger? Depending on what all EXACTLY you are trying to accomplish, there might be a better or easier way.
