i have a 2008 civic auto
wanna use a old compustar cm3000 brain cause i like the range of the remote start and i have the 2 way remotes for it so, I wanna use that with a idatalink tb module.
can anyone help me with wiring this up and also do i need to computer flash the module or can I just do it in the car

i have just never did a install with a bypass unit and the old cm3000 does not have a data port so that is where I am confused and do I need all the starter and ignition wires off the big harness of the cm3000

You don't need a data port. Just wire the dashed lines in the Idatalink TB manual between the remote start and the bypass.
Yes, you will need to connect the remote start wires to the ignition harness as all the bypass does is bypass the immobilizer.
