Benchtop Wiring Build For DEI 5305V W/516L, 508D, Etc.

Greetings! I'm putting together a new build for my 91 Firebird Formula (w/T-Tops, hence the proximity), and wanted to build out all the zones, triggers and sensors on the bench before getting under the dash. This would be my 3rd vehicle/design from scratch, and I wanted to complete all the programming and diode wiring properly and in a nice organized way. Given that I have a 12v bench testing supply, all the sensors, diodes, resistor & relays, etc. available to me, are there any 'gotcha's' or dangers to modules to worry about when wiring for a pre-build like this? 15+ years ago I built pretty much this same design into an 04 Mustang, but installed it in the car on the fly / once piece at a time, etc. It worked great then, and lasted for many years, but I spent many hours and days under the dash. I don't have a proper garage anymore, so a bench build to get it all prepared (and tested) beforehand would be ideal. Suggestions for dummy loads, sensor and trigger wiring orders (diode flowers lol) and any other input appreciated! Thanks, ~AngelAngel
