Fortin Evo All Wiring, 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan

Hello, as stated 2018 vw tiguan, regular key. I am attempting to install a fortin evo all remote start using factory remote, premade harness has been provided all plug and play. brake must be pressed for vehicle to start, I cannot find brake light control wire, this vehicle does not have what seems a conventional brake light switch. could anyone provide info on where to tap into brake light signal, thanks a lot

Going by the diagram supplied by Fortin EVO-ALL Guide #92571 using the T-Harness THAR-VW6... There is a Yellow/Red wire marked Brake Out from the T-Harness that connects to the vehicles Black/Red Brake wire found at the VESCM Module above driver kick panel in a White 73 Pin plug - Connector C. You can test the Yellow/Red wire for +12V during a R/S crank time. Soldering is fun!

KREG, thanks for the reply. the issue I am having is finding the brake light wire signal, it is identified as a black with black stripe on a white connector, by happenstance my car has 3 black connectors at electric control unit, would you have a picture of the connector and it's location?

Hi, Sorry, I have no photos of the VESCM Module, Connector #3 or the Brake wire.   I avoid doing VW vehicles as much as possible. Interesting that your info differs from what I'm able to find. Both iDatalink, Omega and Fortin have the same info on that Brake wire.
