Ok I am getting two 10s of these Eclipse Titaniums 88100TiDVC. I have a few questions. Has anyone here heard of used these? I like SQ and SPL, how are they for both? What are the best enclosure recommendations for these subs? Also, how will I wire these because they are dual 3 ohm I think. What kind of amp should I use for these, I have a Xtant x1001, could I use that for them? Please let me know from anyone and everyone who has used these or knows anything about them, thanks.

I have 2-15" Titaniums, each with its own ppi pcx-1500.  the vc's are wired in parallel, which gives me around 1.7 to 1.8 ohm load for each speaker.  The voice coils are not a true 3 ohm, they are a little higher.  They only recommend sealed enclosures.  They are VERY loud and power hungry---I wouldnt give them less then 1000w a peice.

If you like a good mix of SQ and SPL you have picked the right sub. I run (2) 88120ti dvc's and wouldn’t trade them for anything. I have found that you get the optimal sound right around 1000 watts rms. I run (2) Diamond Audio D7401 http://www.diamondaudio.com which are giving each sub just under 1000 watts rms. I would suggest that you either get another Xtant x1001, or find another high quality amp that puts out 2000 watts

Thanks, but do any of you know where I can find what the best sealed enclosure volume would be? What do you have bberman1? How did you find your sealed volume?

Why don't you stick with eclipse for amplifiers also. In my mind they make the best car audio.  They have some hella-powerful mono amps.

Eclipse makes good stuff no doubt, but with such good subs i would go with the Diamond amps as well just because they are such "clean" amps.

I went with Diamond Audio for the reason above. I wanted the cleanest sound for my Mids and highs, and I wanted to have the same make amps throughout the car.  Eclipse makes some awesome equipment but when it comes to amps Diamond takes the cake. Also Eclipse dose make some large mono amps but in my opinion they just don’t feel like they have the balls that they should for what ever the rated output is.
