I was wondering if there is a way to make leds used for interior light "dance" to the music...like the music interface does for neon lights?

welllllllll i just did this with my neon tubes, you can hooke them up to the positive, negative of your speakers and it will work...BUT at your own risk, i was recommended not to do this, i know which LEDs your talking about, i have them in my car.

u can buy any neons light from AERPRO  they have all range of dancing/sound-sensor flashing....

lil_joker2k2 is right... i have installed 4 neon light tubes in my car, if u open any door, u can see all blue light come up from under neath and under the back seats...   i have heard that from ppl bought neons light from us, saying that if u connect normal neon light POSITIVE(neon terminal) to  POSITIVE (speaker/sub) and NEGATIVE to negative(spk/sub) .. it will flash with the music... but as long as i been told from the supplier, it not too safe to do so... it could killed the neon or ur spker/sub if u turn up too high......

another option just get a trobe neon light, it kinda sensor light, it will flashes when it detect the bass and sometime when the road surface isnt smooth, it will also flashing too haha....

http://www.aerpro.com.au/cgi-bin/list.cgi?list=neons  these are the product of the dancing neon lights (MOOD LIGHTS)  , at the mid page... hope this will help ya
