My truck was recently burglarized, so better late than never I had a "code alarm" system put in. The (new) head unit I bought is a pioneer with DFS alarm functionality. My question is, will the head units built-in alarm functions interfere with the other alarm? I have the wiring color code chart from this site for my truck (a 97 Dodge ram), but I dont know where to look for the wires, are they under the dash, in engine compartment or what?

It's a Pioneer DEH-p77 (1.5 DIN)It actually uses the speakers in the car for the sound alarm, it can trigger other things (sirens, lights etc) via relays. It has iginition disable too.
