I am not happy with the sound of my current system, mainly (i think) due to the poor crossover network built in to the head unit (Pioneer DEH-P77). THis head unit has 3 pair RCA output (Front, rear, sub) each pair run to their own Pioneer GEX-972 amplifier. Pioneer sells a nice looking DSP Equalizer (DEQ-9200) but it appears to have only 1 pair RCA input X 3 output. Is this what I need to bypass the headunit crossover/lpf/hpf's? Will this work?
For what its worth here is the balance of the system: Front doors have Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5 components; Rear doors have Pioneer Rev 5.25 components, The subs are dual Pioneer tube type 6.5" (TswX-75's) which I'm replacing with the new 10" bazooka tube. I do not have any stand alone crossover networks; the sub amp has its LPF switch turned on. The amps are 2 channel GMX-972's

Yes, I read something about that, but I bought the amps from an internet dealer (not Pioneer "authori$ed", www.bsless.com) and I've been told that Pioneer doesnt honor the warranty when you buy from internet dealers. (I only paid 115 each so its not that big a deal for me) They recall xsaid something about them smoking didnt it?
