Is there an easy and near free way to add some more range to my existing alarm?  It just has the antenna that comes out of alarm box, its about 6" long.  It provides a whopping range of about 30' on a good clear day.  Is there an easy way, and cheap way to make the thing work from a further distance??

I have read that you can put your finger across the top of the remote while you press the button with a finger on your other hand. I have also heard you can hold the top of the remote under your chin, but I would never tr that because I dont want to look stupid.
Another way would be to just get a new alarm. They are pretty cheap these days. 2 way starter/alarm combos can start as low as $100 on ebay.

Agdodge4x4  adding range you canput the remote under your chin "keep it there" then push the buttons needed. Your body act as an antenna., also add the same gauge wire as the antenna you have no but no more than 12" and run this as high as possible...
