i only have one negative output left on my keyless entry. i need to use that one output (-) and have 2(-) outputs, so when i hit it the first time it pushes actuator and when i hit it a second time it pulls it. i alread have relays set up to change polarity just dont have 2 outputs to engage and disengage.
please help

Give us more info, what keyless system do you have and what are you controlling with it?

its a bulldog keyless entry used for my truck. It has lock, unlock, and trunk release. The only output left is trunk release. I'm using the trunk release negative output to control an linear actuator.

It should be easy. Using the diagram below, modify it with using limit switches and then when the actuator is in it will go out and when it is out it will go in.

You're going to need to come up with how to wire and adjust the outputs to your needs, but it should be simple to do if you know your relays.

Anyone know where to buy the PCB latching relay. single pole double throw. or an easier way to take the neg. pulse from the alarm unit and give me two seperate neg. pulses. because i only have one neg. output left for an actuator(and no i cant use something else in the car because this neg pulse is powering the actuator in my workshop.

well most linear actuators Ive used come with a limiting switch allready installed in them...but anyways look into a PAC TR7 module, this will make it possible for you to controll the linear actuator in and out, and you would be able to stop it wherever you like, all with one negative pulse.

never mind found what i needed through altronix part # rbr1224 it takes a (-) or (+) pulse and gives you two constant outputs for only $20.00. hit once give it to you on one side, hit pulse again and get constant on other side.
