The system i have include the kenwood x859 deck, kenwood kac 7201 powering 2 phoenix gold tantrum subs and a kac 8401 powering a pair of Alpine Spx 177A. I was wondering what happen if I got another kac 7201, so that there is an amp per sub. What would be the advantages

yes it will. SQ and SPL. double the watts twice as loud (+3dB)If the subs can handle the watts of the amps.

How will it benefit the SQ portion? As for SPL the subs can take about 200 watts RMS and each will put out about 300 watts clean power (0.08%THD)

Downfall is that you'll have a hard time setting the subs to be the same, are they in a coupled chamber box or a separate chamber box?. If you are in the market for another amp, find one that is big enough to drive both with ease, that would be your best bet.

right now there sharing the same chamber in a sealed box. The reason I want the new amp is so that I can fully power each sub with clean power

With a coupled chamber box like yours it is best to use one amplifier only, find yourself a dedicated sub amp that is stable to 2 ohm mono and gives you the desired "wattage" that you are looking for. A little too much power is better than not quite enough.

Under the sound quality aspect, what will i gain? the one single amp can power the subs almost to their RMS rating. So will I still gain sound quality with this takin into consideration

Marginal at best, to gain a noticeable difference in output of approximately 3db results in an amp double the size. If I remember correct your amp is 150w x 2 and your subs are rated to 200w. Yes a larger amp will give you more power, hence louder, but it will also give you more control of the motion of the drivers at lower volume levels, hence increased sq.

If you are looking so compete with this system i would only use one amp a amp that can handle the impedance of your subs   i didnt see what subs you have the impedance per sub...but i would recomend a nice orion or maybe a small zapco    if those are out of your price range look at MA audio
