Ok, I have posted an ad that I have installed a DEI Honet alarm/ remote start unit. Works great other then my last post about the dome light. What I am wondering now is...   is there any remote start units that will hook up to the factory alarm that I can use the factory alarm and factory remotes instead of an aftermaket set up? I was just wondering if this is at all possible. Thanks again for everyones help.

Yes its posssible but if you want any kind of range for your alarm RS i would go with an aftermarket. Most of the factory alarms only come with about 30 foot range and most of the aftermarket starts at 250 feet.

most of the aftermarket starts at 250 feet?  you mean the bottomline r/s's "start with" 250 feet I hope...our most popular model is 2000 feet!!  I'm sure its just semantics.  2003 PT Cruiser factory Remote Start - Last Post -- posted image.
