OMG HELP! I have two 10w62 in a custom sealed box. As I was listening to them today I heard a weird noise coming from them. I went back and looked at them and one of the sub's foam has ripped around the cone. It has gone about halfway around it... The subs are about three months old.
Has anyone else heard of this type of problem from w6v2's?

What amp is powering those subs? I know JL will set you  up with some new subs if you bought them from an authorized dealer and they are only 3 months old.

I have seen that happen on JL drivers before on all sorts of series of subs. If they are from an auth dealer just go back and they will give you a new one.

Is there anyway to fix a sub like this? Also how does this happen so I can prevent this in the future...

but if you've got no warranty on it whatsoever, go spend $5 on a tube of silicone and have fun
