     I'm gonna go with the PPI, how would I wire it to the two DVC subs to ensure that the amp will be seeing a 2-ohm load?

go with PPI i found it for 400 RB or 500 new.. no warranty....

Eclipse makes a digital monoblock that is rated 2000 watts... Should be around 900 bux. A bit more than you really wanted to spend, but you would never need any more power. Wire the woofer vouce coils in series, (2+2=4) then parallel them on the amp (4/2=2)... Bingo! 2 ohms, 2000 watts! 3 year warranty! Digital Efficiency! Beaucoup Power! Look into that as an option.

2000 watts is a little over the rms of the kicker subs.
