I am planning on installing two MTX Thunder 8000 subs in the back of my 01 Suburban next weekend.  Here is the problem.  I would like to integrate the subs without loosing to much storage space.  I though about installing them where the factory sub was located, (back driver's side panel where jack and tools are located)  then placing the second sub on the opposing side behind the other panel, but space seems very limited.  Does anyone have experience with this or suggestions otherwise?  Also, I have to solve the debate betweem ported and sealed, I know the differences, but if anyone has any experience with which one sounds better in this vehicle, I would appreciate the advice.

you could integrate some fiberglass enclosures into those empty spaces utilizing the dead space where the factory sub was, therefore taking up less of your trunk space, consider getting suggestions from your local dealer as well
