battery and alternator

Im going to remove my ac compressor and add an alternator do the batteries have to be the same or can the be different because of the additional alternator. the additional battery will be for my system only

What do you mean do they have to be the same? The same as the one under your hood or what?

Well no they don't have to be exactly the same.  Where is the second bat?  Also just to be sure, your compressor turns the same direction as your alternator, there are some that don't.

    2nd bat will be in the hatch do i have to be concerned with air flow to the bat?  and yes does it have to be the as the one under the hood drag.
