I have done them up to 10 inches with built in dvd. It's best to remove the headliner and brace the sunroof bracket to the rear roof support. I buy a thick piece of metal about 6 to 8 inches wide and it's about 32 inches to the support. I have a machine shop bend and fabricate it for me. Then you simply bolt it in and put the headliner back in. It is definately more work but I have found nothing else to work as there is no support execept for that little strip of sunroof bracket to work with. I wish I had some pictures as it comes out very nice with my procedure.
