I was told that these could hang with a Brahma (SQ and SPL). Is this true? They look like it could be a possibility, but I have never heard one personally?

I've listened to the TDX back to back with a W7 and the JL was a little tighter and just a tad louder. They were running off a JL 1000/1 which suits the JL better as far as power. I'm not sure about the '04 TDX models, but the previous ones asked for around 1500w.

But, they hang pretty close...? Enough so that If I could get a TDX for 1/2 the price, it would be better to get to TDX?
