i put in two 12" subs and everything is hooked up correctly im pretty sure...but when i play music the subs are barely putting out any power...i thought maybe because my speaker wire is too small or something...help me out so i can listen to the full potential of my subs

Have you checked the phase of your subs? Unhook one and see if it gets louder.

Sounds like that's the problem to me as well. If it is louder with the one sub playing, reverse the speaker leads from the disconnected sub and reconnect them. This should make the bass much louder again.

Did you buy this from a chinese guy at a flea market by any chance? I seriously doubt whatever you have can handle 1400W. They are probably Exploders, or Lanzers, or Audiopipe, or some other generic flea market sub. They must be in a bandpass box or something if you cant see the subs. Please tell me I am mistaken in my assumptions lol.

Are you 100 percent sure your amp is screwed and that it just wasnt hooked up outta phase before and when you hooked up your friends amp you just hooked them up correctly?
