If you have one check with a DMM, I would try running a new ground and see if that helps, did you test the red and yellow power wires?

yes i tested the red and yellow wires the yellow -memory wire is bright red and the red- power wiresat the h u plug  is a very very low so im thingking the resistors that go inline with the red-power wire is bad btw we bench tested it and it didnt turn on and i try resetting it no luck

dim??  low??  bright??    these have no meaning.... grab a digital DMM and meter for an actual voltage value... do you have 12 volts?   4 volts?   1 volt?     i tend to suspect that the DIM circuit will have little or no voltage on it ( maybe some residual circuit voltage ).... which usually indicates a blown fuse somewhere......

take that old test light probe, throw it in the garbage and spend 10-20 bucks for a cheap digital DMM.......
