Hi,

I was wondering about the methods everyone usess to integrate a standalone DVD player with a factory stero systems. I used a wireless RF modulator in many cases. The one the person is having distortion issues is when two amps, upgraded factory speakers and subs were added. As always any suggestion is much appreciated.

Modules do exsist for certain vehicles.  Try searching.

FM modulators are always going to have some distortion but in some vehicles the wireless ones truley suck just try a regular hard wired version it should make it better. but if possible just get the AUX adapter like carguy411 suggested.

The RF mod is what we use most of the time. There's plenty of AUX input adapters available, but unfortunately customers don't usually care enough to pay for them. By the way you only asked about dvd but we usually use RF mods for cd changers, and satellite as well. Those wireless modulators aren't worth the packages they come in from my experience.
