What do you guys think about the 12" L5's. I am trying to help a friend out and he is leaning towards two L5's and one SX1250.1. It seems like a good combo, just thought I would run it past you guys. He is aiming for SPL.

if hes going for SPL a ported box should be in order, and as long as he has one done up to spec, he should be happy.

i'd go for L7's if i had the option, but the L5's will hit hard no doubt

I 2nd the motion. Some people dont care for Kicker amps , I have 2 of them and am very satisfied. I dont have the digital series like that one so tell me how it sounds. Are you building your own box of going pre-fab? (please say building custom)

yes its gonna be custom built out of 3/4 MDF and I am also going to fab an amp rack for the SX1250.1

i had 2 l5 12's in a sunfire with a kicker x100s and it was insane i mean loud like my windows would fall back down into the doors. almost broke the seal on my front windsheild. amazing speakers. i also install them every day because i work at an authorized kicker dear, and they never cease to amaze me.
