Need Help With Tech Wire

I have been trying to find this wire all day and i have not had any luck so i am trying to see if someone can tell me where it is at. plz help.

We need to know the year/make/model of the vehicle before we can help you.. Also assuming you mean the tach wire?

hi it is a PURPLE / white at coil on top of motor and white at the 16 pin plug by the engine as well

tach wire, not tech wire. and yes those are the right wires listed. take a multimeter and set it on AC voltage. put your ground test lead on the + battery post and take the positive test lead to the wire you suspect to be the tach wire. it should read about 1 to 6 volts AC, and increase voltage when the engine is revved.
