i put bags on my truck and have installed and engine driven compressor.  i want to install a relay on the clutch for the edc so that if i have a leak the clutch won't turn on unless the truck is started.         i have a 5 prong 30 amp relay and am having problems getting it to work.     i have the 30 plugged into a battery source  i have the 86 plugged into an ignition source the 85 plugged into pressure switch and the 87 plugged into the clutch

Specifically what type of relay do you have, most have 5 pins? What you could do if you have a SPDT relay is wire: 85 ground, or ground through the pressure switch, 86 ign, 30 +12V, and 87 output to clutch.

engine driven compressor relay - Last Post -- posted image.
Use this diagram and instead of a electric compressor just hook the edc up in this fashion. If you have any questions email me at beyondsiccustoms@yahoo.ca or call me at 905-259-2625
