Hey guys I don't know if anyone has tried this or if it would work but, How about if going to a boat shop after putting down the first two layers of the back half of a box , and have them shoot some fiberglass on it to build it up. Then take it home trim it up, mount your rings and  and material glass it with a layer or two  and go back and let them shoot it again. Do you think they would charge you alot. or would it be better to get a spraygun myself , or just do it the usual way?

For the most parts, boat shops won't really help you. The shops in my area won't even sell fiberglass supplies let alone shoot it for you.

this is just lazy, you would have to be building one hell of a big box to buy a gun!  ??????? even alot of small boat builders lay it by hand!

It's not that I'm being lazy, it's just that I don't get alot of time to do what i like to with my work scedule and the family. Plus I live in an apt. complex, so i don't have a garage to work in and it's getting cold here in dallas and I work on my porch, so it would look kinda funny with it half way enclosed with plastic or something like that.

I was thinking of getting a gun because I have a couple of jobs lined up, But i would hate the mess. Maybe I'll just get a heater and hope for the best.
