fiberglassing help - Last Post -- posted image.

I have these same subs and wana do an encloser similar to this to fill my trunk. Would it be a good idea to try this. I think it would look great but incase on an emergency could I get at the spare tire etc.

To do that exact box in that car i don't see you being able to get to that tire, a box that big with three 8000 12's or whatever they are are goign to have a little bit of weight to them, but if you do something that isn't as much molded to the car you can prolly get a way to lift it out, it might take you some time tho, just one of the things you have to give up to have a nice system, haha

Well, I was gonna say good luck doing something that looks similiar to that in a trunk. The spare might be a lost cause.

if the seats fold down you can do it. I've built boxes like that in many hatchbacks. you can build the box to arch over your spare so you can fold the seat down and pull the tire out.

naaaaaa, mtx 8000's take alot of air space, there is no spare tire in your future!
