res-r security system /99 sable

 Can You Help?rReceived RES-S security system as gift and paid$ 150.00 to have it wired  to be told it did not  stay running . IT would start and shut off. Im out $150.00 and have no security system

This vehicle is equipped with PATS (Passive Anti Theft System). Did they use any bypass?  like DEI module 555F?

Not properly hooking tach wire or learn tach.

Need to bring it back to the installer and have them correct the matter.

Thanks for responding so quickly.A bypass was installed. I was told I used wrong terminology and the res-r is  a remote starter/keyless entry which i'm sure your aware of.

Can someone tell me where to find an antenna for the res-r security system for a 99 mercury sable .The system i received is incomplete.

on my 1999 sable everything works except the remote start. it will start but then shut off after a few seconds. the installer thought it was the fact that i don't have an antenna with the unit. i changed the battery in the remote and the distance from which it works has improved. the installer went over and double checked all of the wiring with no luck. he tried both + and - tach. he feels the unit is defective. where can i get another unit or an antenna for the unit so i can finally get this thing working. will an antenna fix the remote start? any help will be appreciated.

  on my 99 sable everything works except the start. the doors lock and unlock, the lights flash, the car starts for a few seconds then shuts off. if the unit needs programming shouldn't the professional installer know how to do it? what is the procedure? my remote has 4 buttons. lock, unlock,a horn and a star. if you think the unit may be defective where can i get another one? thank you for all your help.
