hey ppl, hope you can help me out. i'm installing window roll up to my rav and want my sunroof to close as well. sounds easy enough. problem i've come across is the sunroof set up. roof runs off rocker switch that when pressed back will fully open roof, when pressed and held forward will half close roof, when pressed and held again roof will fully close, and when pressed and held again will tilt roof up..whew.

i have fit a lot of window roll up before but am having trouble getting my head around this sunroof. what i am thinking of doing is wire roll up kit for 4 windows as normal and use a two window kit for the sunroof. do you think that will work? if sunroof is closed just wondering whether module will trigger it thinking its closed and tilt roof up. Any advice would be appreciated.

it will be a little bit of a hassel. it will work just like the switch does. if its closed and you hit the aux button then it will open if its open and you arm it, it will halfway close. if its closed and you arm it then i would guess it would vent. It would suck but i would suggest using two different aux channels just for the sun roof, that way it is independent from the arming the vehicle and the windows. You would then be able to open, vent, close half-way or all the way.
