recently installed a Viper remote starter/alarm in girlfriends '97 chevy blazer ..just basic start/siren/door lock/ install...nothin' fancy...since install, the auto transmission fails to shift properly ( stays in 3rd gear from all the time). and 'check engine' light remains on. obd2 reader hookup shows 3 codes related to the transmission shift solenoid circuit. have found reports on other forums that his is common if a remote starter has been improperly installed (oops!)  the starter works fine but does anyone know where I went wrong? thanx

white 2nd ignition wire isn't powered up.
hook it up to the pink/white wire on the alarm.
unhook battery for 20 minutes.
start truck with key, you vehicle will be happy again.
