Can anyone tell me how to go about removing the stereo of a 2005 Tacoma (with the cd changer)? I want to get to the back of the stereo so I can install XM radio and I can't figure out how take the thing out. Anyone messed around with the stereo in these trucks yet?

is this year the one with the brand new design?  or is the interior similar to that of previous years?

Pop off the HVAC ( air conditioning pannel ) found right below it, use something flat like a butter knife to pry from below and it will just pop off. Once off you can see some bolts back up in there,  take those out and the whole thing swings up and out. Good Luck
