Are there any mobile video players out there that can play DVD-R/+R format. I have some dvds that were dubbed off my pc. I am looking to install a player for my 05 Mazda tribute. I am looking either at an all in one or separates. Have not decided yet. Any suggestions would be helpful. Especially any problems or helpful hints when installing in that kind of a vehicle. Thanks

Most DVD players made in China will play all sorts of recording. Most can be found on Ebay or if you want something with a little name brand, try www.icon-tv.org pretty cool unit to suit most installs. But one things for sure, you get what you pay for...No name will play all formats an are well featured and plays really decent quality pictures BUT they only have a average lifespan of 2 years before giving up. So good luck,

I bought a Power Acoustik that played just about anything you could throw at it.  Lots of adjustable features built in too.

PADVD-150

I bought one on ebay you can probly grab one on there too. Just buy from a Good seller.  Its a 1 DIN Player (basically the same size as your aftermarket cd player) Or you can just mount it on the floor somewhere. It has a loading tray that slides out and accepts your discs.  Plays MP3's Too.

my pyle plays dvdr's fine even though its not mentioned in the specs anywhere. I would try to stick to +R rather than -R however as for you media because its usually more compatible and less prone to errors due to scratches and defects
