No Power To Radio?

That's good news, you do not have a factory amp which cause problems in these first generation class 2 caddies. Metra makes a part you can use, GMRC-03. It retains data functions, gives you an delayed accessory out like your factory radio and retains chimes. This will be expensive and hard to find but highly recommended as you could have problems once you remove the radio. If you do not use this harness you will have to run an accessory to the fuse box. Let me know if you cannot find one locally. I have a couple web sites you can get this from.
