I just hooked up the sirius add-on unit to my alpine 9835. I activated it and I see all the channels but I get no sound. Is there something I need to do so I get sound? I know my radio works because I get sound from the tunner. Thanks for any help!

Do you have the AUX Ai-net input turned on?  I haven't seen one of these units yet so ima  shot in the dark.

When all else fails.....

RTFM....Read The F&^*ing Manual....

Alpines have a lot of settings and you may just be missing one...So read through the manual and see what you can find...

When RTFM fails...Call Alpine Tech Support or send an E-Mail...

all you have to do is make sure all settings related to the XM are turned on...the deck first recognizes the unit as XM, then changes over to Sirius...you wont be dissapointed with your choice!  As for connection and no sound...this sounds dumb, but check it anyways...you probably have your input/output on the sat box reversed...check it...you might be suprised!  When the cable is pluged into the wrong side, that is exactly what will happen...trust me, i know!
