um... it should just flip the unlock icon to lock, flash tx/rx, and say arm.
does it beep for lock then a second later beep again and flash 1,2? if its doing that it means the zones were still active and will not arm until they become deactive. this is most commonly due to a vehicle with a dome light delay or the installer not installing a diode between seperate triggers.

It was in vibrate mode... I push lock, it vibrates. Then a second or 2 later it vibrates again and flashes 1 and 2 with the word sensor below it. My vehicle has a dome light delay for about 15 seconds. When it becomes active, should beep me to let me know its active? Also, can you read my post above the one you just read, and help me out with that? Thanks!

it sounds like the sensor is mounted/secured poorly.  i doubt the harness is "backwards".  across the harness there is 12v, full trigger, warn away, and status/ground.

The trigger wires in shock sensor's harness are multiplexed. on one end of the harness there is an open wire, on the other end there is a looped wire. the looped end of the plug must be at the shock sensor or you will not have a warn away. If you don't believe me call DEI. I had this problem in the past and called their tech support. they told me to flip the harness around and bingo, worked fine.
