I currently have the Pioneer SDV-P7 DVD player and a Pioneer AVH-P6400 indash screen and also 2 monitors in the headrest.  Now I am deciding on what to get for gps.  Should I just get the AVIC-N1 and if I do will that work with the SDV-P7 so I can have them both still hooked up so I can have the GPS CD in the N1 and then have a movie playing in the other DVD player for the rear monitors.  I know the n1 has the ability of the ram and being able to take out the dvd maps.  The touch screen would be nice.  I also have a Pioneer 12 disc changer in the trunk without using the FM modulator.  I have the wire now so I dont have to use it and is it supported by the n1

Or would it work to get a AVIC-90DVD and hook that up to what I have already which is the DVD player and the P6400 screeen and have all 3 hooked up,  and the pioneer 12disc changer. in the trunk without using the FM modulator.  I have the wire now so I dont have to use it and is it suppored by the n1.  Would either of these work fine.

Thanks Nick

Get the N1. It will support all of the features that you want. NAVI disc must be in to search for new locations, which may interrupt your movies, but N1 will store previously searched destinations, so set waypoints/directions before long trips and you won't have to switch discs during a movie.

If I get the N1 is it possible to still have my SDV-P7 pioneer DVD player hooked up to that so I can always leave the navi disc in the N1 and then use the other player for DVD movie playing.
Thanks

Not 100% sure. Most likely not. I believe N1 will only play one source at a time (which is the reason that a hard drive was installed for NAVI features). Check with Pioneer's Tech Hotline.
