Hello,,

Can Anyone help me witha a Bulldog Security Remote Start Rs82 installed in a 2005 Ford F150, I have Their Bypass, 791, hooked up the way the tech guys said, Tight Wraps of the loop wire around the ignition cylinder under the factory transponder. But i cant seem to get it to recognize the code. I have the 2nd key installed in the bypass correctly and it does start the vehicle without the RS so i know its not the key,so im at a loss.

Do i have the 791 installed correctly around the cylinder? or is this bypass just garbage?

You second assumption is very likely.   I just sent one back to them that won't shut off and continually sends a signal to the ignition.   Vehicle thinks the key is in the ignition whether it is or not.  Basically what that means is the only way I could start the vehicle was with the remote start.  Car would not start with the key due to getting two key signals.

Sent it in to them a week and a half ago and I can't get them to return my calls or emails....very frustrating.   Had problem with the remote start unit too.... their wiring diagrams for my vehicle were wrong and caused me many headaches, then we we finally got that sorted out, the range sucked...only about 75'.   They told me how to take the box apart and tune the reciever...basically turn a screw a tenth of a turn at a time and keep trying it from 400 to 800' away until you get the best range.   Saved a few bucks by buying cheap equipment but cost me a small fortune in my labor and headaches....plus I still don't have a working remote start.
