Hi again... Is it normal for sound to be really 'dull' when 'punch' / loudness (RF 9210) control are off? When the punch control is turned off, the sound from my Calibra splits sound like cheap portable radio... (ok almost). It still plays quite loud but with no power. I was wondering if something could be wrong here or is it just the speaker / amp quality? I don't think its the HU but suspect it could be the AMP ($130 Blaster) if any. I cannot really turn gain up as the speakers do play loud and high.. Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks
Nick

A "loud" button usually increases the speaker output by about 3Db at certain frequencies. If your system requires the "loud" function to be used, in order to sound good... I think that you are under powering your speakers.
