Ok, I have a 1990 Ford Ranger and I'm tryin to fix it up since I have a sweet paint job and some rims. I made a fibergalss dash thingy that will hold my 7" TV Screen and i've also made a sub box outta fiberglass for 2 10's. So things seemed to be going good but ever since I hooked my tv up things seem to be effin up. I have repleced my Soliniod....starter....alternator...wiring...everything but the battery cause its pretty much brand new. I hooked my tv up by undoing the wiring from my cig lighter (the red and black wires)and hooked it up to my tv wiring and it was workin good. I also had my power inverter with power from the battery (one wire on the positive and one wire on the negative that ran into the inverter) but now my truck wont start sometime and its startin to piss me off haha. Do any of yall know what the prob may be? Please help with this!

If your inverter is hook up direcly to the battery this may be the cause of your draining.
Hook up evrything on accessory circuit or ignition . Respect current draw.

Try to use a relay to the inverter but the ignition / accessory should work fine.

Use black wire from inverter to ground

86 -- to the ignition

85--  to ground

87--  to 12v with a fuse                       Hope this helps

30--  to power to inverter

87a ---  not used
