How much did it cost to build your speaker boxes?
Currently $119
1x 1.25gal of resin $85 local bought Lordco. BIG mistake! Call to the local warehouses that specializes in resin is best.
2x 75dm2 of mat $12 local Canadian Tire
4x paintbrushes $6 Liquidation store
4x masking tape $10 Princess Auto
MDF $unknown not bought
1x Acetone can $6 Lordco
plus more resin later on and mat. This time not at the local store.
Speed Kills!
Vancouver ricer!
If I marry a Surrey girl. Do I have to pay her for services rendered?

the boxes i have made vary in price:

94 mazda x cab for a single ten and amp rack made out of mdf, carpet and padding= $60 in materials(in 1998)

96 ranger x cab for 2-12's and an amp rack made out of mdf, carpet= $80 in materials(last year)

96 ranger x cab(same truck) for 4-12's made out of mdf and fiberglass, suede, bondo, spray glue= $120(this year)

2000 chevy venture for 2-12's made out of mdf, carpet, glue= $80(2 years ago)

96 chevy silverado reg cab for 1-12 made out of mdf= $55(last year)

just do some shoping around to get the best price, all prices don't include labor(i charge $60/hr). i like mdf for it's strength and ease of fabrication but will start to use more glass for the ease of making odd and cool designs.

in the states a 4x8 sheet of 3/4 mdf should run around $25.

All Bleeding stops.....eventually!

I've spent anywhere from $30-$300 on materials. Your shopping list seems pretty close even though I'm not in canada. The only thing I think you paid too much for is the resin and you obviously realize that.

Huh? I just bought a 2x4 sheet of 3/4 mdf at Home Depot for $6... where are you paying twice that at?

Where I buy mine its $26 for a 4x8 sheet. The local Home Depot doesn't have MDF.
