I am in the market for a new HU and am leaning heavily towords an Alpine. I am unsure however what the differences are between the 9853, the 9833, and the 9835. I know the 9853 is newer, but what, if any are the different features. I am welcome to other suggestions as well, but keep in mind I want IPOD integration, so I need either an IPOD interface option or an AUX in. I am looking to spend less than 400, and SAT radio(sirius preferably) is a must. Thanks.

Go to Alpine's web site and check out the specs. They are all there.

The new models will be much better as far as ipod intergration goes. Alpine has really gone all out on the ipod integration this year.

Well, I have the 9833 and the only difference between it and the 9835 is the display.

Big changes this year with Alpine HU. There is only one 4 volt CD player CDA 9855. Glide touch is kinda cool, think mouse on a lap top. There is no more V power ( 26 RMS X 4 ). I Pod interface 420i will only work with 9 series HU. Just a note, 9835 has a outboard DC to DC power supply ( 9833 does not ) for slightly better S/N ratio.
