I personally think that the front spk line level input are just so when you fade the sound forward you won't fade out the bass. So if you don't fade your sound to the front I don't think you need the front spkr wire.

You're correct. The only reason Infinity put 4 is so that you can fade and use the balance and still have bass. If he faded it to the opposite side it was connected to he wouldn't have bass. Just connect it to the rear speakers probobly. You don't really need to connect it to the front unless you have it faded towards the front alot.
