Hi guys,
I just recently installed a system 2 weeks ago and just today 3 of my 4 speakers went dead, no sound at all while the fourth one still going very good. The system for my car includes 1 Performance Teknique amp 800watts (powering the sub), 1 Performance Teknique amp 500watts (powering the 4 speakers), 4 Pioneer speakers, Pioneer 8600MP head unit. The system been bumping pretty good for the last two weeks until today. Can you guys help me diagnose this problem....is it loose wires, bad ground, burned fuse?...I tried checking all those but found nothing...please help...thank you very much

Check the speakers at the amp. Disconnect all the speakers at the amp. Take the speaker that is still working and test it into the other channels to see if it still works, if so check the wiring back to the other 3 speakers. If all channels work problem is within the speaker wire or at the speaker itsefl possible grounding out.

"Performance Teknique" makes very poor quality amps and it may be that you have simply blown it.  Try swapping left and right speaker conenction at the amp for the one channel that still functrions.  If it is channel 1 for example that still works, try swapping the speaker conenctions at the amp between channels one and two.  If the same speaker still works, then you have a speaker problem with the other three.  If the working speaker changes with the wiring, your amp is toast.
