Does anyone know what size the front door speakers are in a 96 plymouth grand voyager se? It does not have the Infinity system. There actually are not speakers there now, but the door has the grille and the hole for them, I believe. If there isn't a hole, how hard would it be to cut one the size of the grille opening? Also, what depth do I have to work with in these doors? I've tried looking at google and crutchfield, and i get varying answers. some say it's 5x7, 6x9 and some say 2.333 inches depth and some say 3 inches depth. ugh. can anyone help? thanks

Jeff

Jeff,
Best thing to do is just open thing up so that you know the right size speaker to get and how deep the doors are. You are going to install the speaker anyways right? So why not save the guess work and put them on your next lottery purchase.
Make sure you don't cut anything. No need to unless you feel that you have a lot of confidence in custom work.   So, the next best thing is to get the correct size speaker so that you can mount them to the original screw hole. You will feel a lot better later when you know they are not moving around and making funny noise behind the panel.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager Speakers - Last Post -- posted image.
