how do i calculate the space on  a fiberglass box. i have 2 12 inch Eclipse subs. they will be going into a 2001 pontaic grand am. and does anyone have any suggestions on how to take off the vinyl on my door panels

I'd like for one of you guys thats more advanced in math than myself to explain how to calculate airspace BEFORE building the enclosure. I know it can be done. I just don't know how.
