Cd Problem

I just got a Jvc KD-LX100 that i switched a sony i had laying around and when it was in the car the cd player worked but now it doesnt work it takes and ejects the cd fine but when i insert it and it says cd play but then goes to FM. What do u think is wrong? is there a curtain wire i need hooked up i have it in my room right now going off a computer everything works except the cd player.

Thats not a wiring thing since there isn't a deditcated wire for the CD.  If the radio works and the CD doesn't, I would say the deck is bad.

sounds like a bad lazer or something, is it giving you an error code or anything?
