97 Rodeo, Viper 791XV Remote Start

I have a 97 Rodeo and i can't seem to get the remote start to work on this alarm. When it's connected to the tach i only get around 2-4v's and when it revs a little it hardly goes up. This is a multi coil ignition system and i wonder if that affects it? Plz post up your ideas!

V6... ? Tach Wire...... BLACK/ red @ the PCM at the center console pin C10

ohhhh see i was tapping in at the wire at the actual tach spot..thanks ill give it a shot here in a few days, also my brake light is supposed to set the alarm off if its set and hooked up but it doesn't, any advice?

why would your brake light set the alarm off??
