one of my mates wants me to re-do his box in fg, and im thinking of just adding a couple of mdf rings as risers, then fleece, etc. would it be better if i took the whole front off and re-do everything? it's a sealed box with two mtx subs with a division in the middle. it's covered in vynil, but that is coming off. thanks lads

i had thought about it, but what's wrecking my head is that it's a sealed box; how do i keep it sealed? or take the whole thing off alltogether? wont the sound be affected if i lose the division? they're being driven by only one amp...

you can also include a seperator in the design of the box. the only thing that will really be affected will be the air space.
